Huddersfield Town Premier League Primary Stars Football competition

On Tuesday 31st October, eight Year 5 boys competed against several other teams from across Kirklees in the Huddersfield Town Premier League Primary Stars football competition.  They enjoyed being inches to the Premier League Champion throphy which was last won by Chelsea.  The boys learnt some interesting facts about the trophy, including the meaning of the 3 different coloured ribbons carefully placed on the handles of the trophy, the coloured ribbons correspond to the colour of the winning football teams socks, shorts and T-shirt.  Well done boys - you played brilliantly, showing great sportsmanship.

Shelley Pyramid Boys Football Tournaments

Year 3 Football

On Tuesday 10th March a team of children from Year 3 represented the school in the Year 3 Shelley Pyramid football competition. All the children played brilliantly, working well as a team and they shined with Shepley Magic. There were some fantastic goal keeping and tackling skills throughout the competition.  Mrs Tahir was very proud of all the children that played. Thank you to the parents who helped transport the children and for all their support.
Well done everyone!
