World Book Day 2019

Class 4 have had such a wonderful day, I was so impressed with the amazing outfits the children wore for World Book Day.

The children focused on a favourite author, David Walliams by creating fact files on the netbooks and also creating their own characters based on the illustrations in his books.

Poetry 2019

Class 4 have really enjoyed exploring poems by the author Joseph Coelho. His book, 'Werewolf Club Rules', has inspired some fantastic group poems about Mrs Bowman, myself and our wonderful school.

Their creativity, imagination and teamwork has been a joy to watch, check out their poems below.

Class 4 had an amazing day making a winter village with a big hint of Christmas using LEGO. Using their knowledge of circuits the children then lit parts of their village up.

It was a fantastic team effort. Enjoy the video smiley

Conductors or Insulators???

Class 4 worked well in groups to test a variety of materials to find conductors and insulators. The children recorded their results and explained what they had found out.

Children In Need Ramble

Class 4, as well as the school had an amazing time walking the 3 miles and a bit for Children in Need. There was no surprise at all at how amazing the children were on the walk and I am extremely proud to be Class 4's teacher.

Take a look at all the fun we had smiley

Exploring Vibrations

The children have had great fun exploring vibrations using muscial instruments and tuning forks.

Class 4 have had a blast making clay dragons, dragon eggs and designing dragon eyes.
